i have 7 angelfish,but last month 1 died all of the sudden.the only symptom is that it didn’t eat for a few days(no signs of any visible parasite).then a week later another 1 died and then the next until yesterday all with the same signs(sudden loss of appetite).now only 1 is left(largest-marble veil) and also starting to loose his apetite.the only trace left in the tank are white droppings
i’ve done some research and the only disease or infestation description that match based on their symptoms is hexamita.i looked in every petstore for medicines with metrodinazole but found none so i went to the pharmacy and bought flagyl tablet.but i don’t know how to dose it.could please help me?can you give me specific instructions?i really want to save my veil angel.also,i have 5 juvenile angels in a separate tank.they had contact with the infected angels(2 of the infected actually died in their tank).can i include them in the treatment just to be sure?…and if it’s ok with you,could you answer via e-mail instead of here?thank you very much.
