I am asking this because I recently bought an electronic cigarette, which is basically a nicotine vaporizer. I have not been able to find anything conclusive on the physical harms of nicotine-only products. I know that most stimulants have a negative effect on the cardiovascular system, and that pure nicotine is toxic at high(er) doses, but what about >30mg/day? I have been using the product with decreasing concentrations of nicotine solution to wean off of tobacco addiction. Links to appropriate studies are appreciated.
I’m taking the antibiotic Ampicillin to treat a sinus infection, but I feel terrible. I have a headache, I feel bloated, I have no appetite and I fell asleep for an hour this afternoon which I never do. I’m having a hard time getting any work done and I was wondering if these are possible side effects. I tried to google it, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Any help would be appreciated.
I have the typical metalic taste (I just ignore it) but I’m also having problems with aching and trouble sleeping. Anybody else have this too?
(sigh) I’ll be talking to the doctor today. Sounds like there may be a problem here. I also have depression and it’s affecting that a bit too. I also keep getting a bloody nose, though I’m not sure it’s at all related (but it’s only happening since I’ve been on it)
I ran out of my Prozac medicine and don’t have any more refills. I was wanting to stop taking it anyway but I have heard that you can’t just stop “cold turkey”. I don’t want to pay to go to the doctor to get another prescription. Will I be okay just not taking it anymore and what can I expect?
Client is 70 year old female w/ long history of schizoaffective dis, been on 2mg Risperdal for a few weeks and doing well but likely will go home and go off meds. MD worried about effects of Risperdal on pt anyway, so won’t try injectable. Likely to lose housing, end up conserved, so family interested in this form.
Long history of other meds, so really only interested on this particular topic. Thanks!!
