I have amox/k clav prescription for 875 mg, but only have 9 of them….usual dosage is 500 mg…..can I take less or are the pills 875 mg amox on one side and 125 clavulanate potassium on the other side?
My best friend complain having occasional pain at his private part and after taking urine tests, he was prescribed to take augmentin antibiotics for 5 days. Doctor says its a minor infectious and will soon recover if he takes the medicine. However after 5 days,he still feel that the pain is still there. What’s wrong with my friend.
Hi. A few weeks ago, I was being treated for a UTI with the antibiotic Augmentin, which is highly similar to Amoxicillin. I became pregnant toward the end of the round of antibiotics, and took them for a few days during my pregnancy before I knew I was pregnant. Does anyone know the potential risks of this, if any?

Sorry, I thought it was gout but and update… I walked a bunch tonight and it swelled back up. It was getting better as I stayed of it.

My daughter was just diagnosed with pneumonia. She was prescribed augmentin which is an antibiotic. I was wondering if I could give her a cough expectorant like mucinex as well to help her have more productive coughs. Thank you!
