Has anybody successfully and comfortably tapered or quit Haldol or another antipsychotic? How did you do it? I take 1mg of Haldol per day and I really want to quit it!

Stopping medication is VERY dangerous. At one point I was taking 7 pills a day , and I quit them all cold turkey. I ended up in the mental hospital because of it.
The best advice I can give you, is to talk to your doctor about it. if you tell them that you will stop taking it cold turkey if they don’t help you, they may be more willing to help.
