Cipro and Flagyl – What to do about the stabbing stomach pains?

My co-worker had been on cipro and flagyl for a few days, but stopped last week because it was making her throw up and just feel plain bad. Now she is having constant sharp stomach pains. She will probably go to the doctor, but does anyone have an idea of what may be wrong? …or what she can take or do to relieve the stomach pains?

    stomach pain is a side effect for both. but she really needs to call her doctor.
