So this all started nearly 2 months ago. I originally got sick with a sinus infection and was put on 2 diff antibiotics to clear it up. Between the antibiotics I developed this funny discomfort on my left side by my belly button. Ended up getting really painful where I thought my entire side was going to explode. I was also having occasional diarreaha and loose bm with nausea and loss of appetite I lost about 17lbs. The doctor thought that it might be c difficle or a parasite so they put me on flagyl for 10 days. symptoms slightly improved on the 8th day. Now its weeks later and I am still having pain/discomfort on my left side near my belly button. Sometimes worse than others but its always there although not nearly as bad as originally. Appetite is back but nauseau still occurs off and on. So far I have had blood work, x-ray, catscan, and stool testing. All tests have come back normal. Could it be gallstones. I am having a colonoscopy in a few weeks. I am only in my early 20′s.
I’ve been taking prozac for a very long time, and I still get depressed. I’ve only noticed a few changes in my mood, but if I had to rate this medication, i would give it a 5. I don’t know exactly how it works to make patients like me get rid of depression.
I have swelling and itching ALL over my vagina…inside and out. I have ampicillin, does anyone think that would help? And is it true that if you start an anti-biotic, you need to finish it or it’ll only get worse? Thanks so much!

Anyone else taking Remeron (mirtazapine) have this side effect?
For those who were on Flagyl for BV (bacterial Vaginosis) when did it start helping? I take 250 MGS twice a day, and am supposed to for 7 days. I’m on the 6th day and I’ve noticed improvment, but I can tell I still have it. This worries me because I am almost 16 weeks pregnant and I know how bad this infection can be for the baby. The doctor gave me extra meds in there that i can take it up to 14 days…should I do this if I don’t feel better? or can it take awhile to cure the infection?
I have been on other anti-depressants before I started taking Effexor (75mg) but have never had a problem with anger or crying hysterically after a couple of drinks like I have been doing on Effexor. Has anyone else had these problems on this medication? Do you think that it is something else or the meds? It’s as if a switch flips on and all of a sudden I blow up at my boyfriend. I take things out on him for no reason at all but only when I am drinking. I really think it is the medication but I would like to see if there is anyone else out there that has experienced these feelings on Effexor.
A dr. RX’d for me but noooo way I am not taking this stuff I feel so weird and completely out of it. Anyone out there know what Im talking about?
